Materna and the Hasdei Naomi organization hold the yearly charity campaign, the
"8th Materna Mitzvah"
This is the eighth consecutive year that Hasdei Naomi and Materna, with the help of consumers, are doing a Materna mitzvah for needy families.
In the campaign, consumers are called upon to send the measuring spoons
included in Materna products or empty Materna porridge packages to Hasdei
Naomi. For each four measuring spoons or bags, the company will donate one
of its milk substitute products to Hasdei Naomi for distribution to needy families.
To help the public send in the spoons and packages, a special van sponsored
by Materna and Hasdei Naomi is touring the country to collect the spoons and
packages accumulated by the public.
