Adama was established in 1993 when the Israeli organic market was still in its infancy. The vision: Provide an organic alternative to the conventional market.

The company developed extensive business engagements with producers, importers and organic growers and established its position as one of the important elements in the organic food market by branding its various products with the name Adama. In this period several new categories were developed such as the frozen product department, which includes frozen vegetables, fish, chicken, and a series of organic frozen vegetable schnitzels has recently been launched.

Since the beginning, the company has taken care to present techniques for the assimilation and penetration of organic products while maintaining uncompromising quality and customer service.

As part of its progressive development, in the past few years Adama has relocated to a new, modern logistic center that includes state-of-the-art refrigeration and storage rooms, with the aim of protecting its organic products and to assure that they maintain their optimum taste, freshness and health properties.

Today Adama leads the organic market in Israel and engages in the production, import, growing and marketing of its products throughout the entire country to privately-owned stores, nature stores and supermarkets.

Adama offers over 200 organic products, and its name is recognized and held in high regard. Among the organic customer public and the general population, Adama is synonymous with organic.

Supervision and reliability – Adama's products are manufactured under the supervision of Agrior, Israel's largest company for the supervision and certification of organic produce, and the unit authorized by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM). Adama is also an authorized member of the Israeli Organic Biologic Agriculture Organization, whose symbol of approval and supervision, "Tuv Hasadeh" ("The Good of the Field"), is imprinted on each and every product.
